The Double Rifle Shooters Society (DRSS) exists to promote the use and appreciation of the double rifle in the hunting and shooting sports. The DRSS fosters appreciation for double rifles and members actively assist others with questions and concerns regarding double rifle mechanics; manufacturers and histories; proof mark designates; design, fit, form and function; caliber considerations; weight and balance of rifles; double rifle design; stock design; engraving; shooting; and reloading.

This website is the internet home of the Double Rifle Shooters Society and its members. Here we will share re-caps of our invitational hunts, our hosted double rifle shoots, information about double rifles and their manufactures and models, photos of double rifles, and information about reloading double rifles.
Additionally, the DRSS will assist anyone interested in purchasing a double rifle with un-biased opinions about double rifles to help the buyer make an educated decision. When possible, and at the descretion of DRSS members, we also advocate a potential buyer meet owners of double rifles to handle and shoot them prior to making a purchase.
