Double Rifle Shooters Society Invitational Hunts

Since 2005, the DRSS has consistently heald an annual invitational hunt for members. We initially hunted at a small ranch in northern Texas near Crowell. When the size of the group got larger, and more people joined the group, we moved to Camp Cooley Ranch near Franklin, Texas. Still, as the membership of the DRSS got larger, we needed to find a larger ranch. One of our members recommended the 4 K Ranch near Brady, Texas. When we visited the 4 K Ranch the first time in January 2007, we fell in love with the place. The accomodations can hold 20 people, there is a gathering room with pool table, TV, fireplace, two dining rooms, a bar, and a full kitchen. Still the DRSS grew in size so we are now holding two hunts per year at the 4 K Ranch: one in January and another in June.
